This fall and winter have been easily kind to us in New York City with slight wind. The season comes opportunities to layer comfortably and influence your sense of creativity. Today’s gently look combines 70’s and classic elements, when dressing it is always important to be mindful of the two while adding some personal touches to the contrast. This collection, Revolution Now delivers brilliant style and consists of sweater, knitted blazer, shirting and vest. This is such a playful collection because of their experimentation with fabric placements and their very unique patch works, superb to say the least!

My must have in this collection would be the black/white knitted blazer with the burgundy vest, there really isn’t any word to describe those piece… not even the word swag would do the job. I literally would buy all of the pieces from this collection because of its neutral colors and unique style it offers (but I can’t because I’m not a man with a lot of money).

I thought it would be great to combine what I do best with Revolution Now providing the fall and winter collection, styled in my own way and Florian Schmitt on the Lens – produced some cool visuals. Let’s face the fact, we spoke a day before we met and there was a positive connection. So we took on the street of Brooklyn and let the photographs do the talking.

I stopped by the Revolution Now showroom and a lot of items immediately caught my eyes. We put together a couple of piece and it was a breath of fresh air. When I was assembling the look, I had envisioned pairing it with somewhat of 70’s style.

Experiencing difficulty in finding affordable sweaters that could take them from work to play, Revolution now takes a modern approach to classic knitwear. The NYC based creative team decided to design and produce a line that would meet their needs. The team sells what they wear and wear what they love. He created his clothing line back in 2009 and hasn’t looked back from then, his clothing is already being stocked in different countries across the world – major props. You can now purchase some of his fall/ winter selects early over at rev-now.com

Photography – All of the visuals in the post are provided by Florian Schmitt, German based Photographer. It was great to work with him as he brought the street of Brooklyn to life through his images. For the past few days I have been working with Florian on several exciting projects which should be coming to light very soon.

I am really excited to share with you fun projects I am working on, in preparation for the Holidays- our favorite time of year
